Question: Overweight 17 year old who has made strides in weight loss but is still overweight, can anyone help?

it looks like you've been successful at cutting down the fat and weight.
nows the time to tone your body
i suggest doing weight training and less cardio
also getting a personal trainer may not be bad (not sure financially how that would impact you)
but i tried it last summer and definitely got me results that i wouldn't have gotten by myself
and eat protein!!!!!!!
chicken breast is always good and has the least fat
and if you like smoothies add some whey protein--they help you bulk up a bit

okay, first off, you can still get a beach body anytime! it'll be hard either way. you need to have a clean diet. eat breakfast, healthy. proportions, and your diet should have not as much junk food as you'd like. stay away from fried food and only have "GOODIES" in moderation. if you can, go to the gym and get a trainer. they arent THAT expensive i dont think. work out 3-5 times a week for 30-60 minutes each day. dont get dicouraged! i hope i helped! break a leg!

hey dude i know exactly how u feel i have a guy friend who was like that and i sure got him in shape...here are the steps for changing ur body!!!
1. first u need will power and determination like give ur self a big reward at the end if u meet ur goal...believe me it encourages you more!
2. get a membership at a club pronto!!
3. basically if u want to loose fat u have to consume half ur intake so for a girl this is what i eat...luna bar for breakfast...a light lunch....and another bar for dinner!...trust me its not only excercise its eating alot less!!!!
4. to get that six pack ur gonna need to work out on the muscles machines like 1 hour every day!!!
