Pom Auditions and Weight Loss Quick?

This year I've noticed that recently I've gained some weight due to depression and eating constantly. I'm not excessively overweight, I just recognize that if I don't do anything about it, this will become a problem. I decided that I want to audition for my school's pom team, but I've never really had much training. I'm looking for something for me to join the two together, and hopefully have impressive results by May. Thanks :)

Exercises for teen girls for quick weight loss?

i am trying to lose weight.... i am 13, 5'2, and 158 pounds. I know I am fat, I really wanna lose it EVERYWHERE! Anyway.... I am pretty much free to do stuff (except thursdays, i play tennis for an hour) so stuff at home, i can go to the gym, run, anything.

Also:
breakfast :have cereal or coffee
walk to school (roughly takes 20 minutes or less)
lunch: sandwhich with wheat bread, turkey, and spicy brown mustard, and wheat thins sticks (8 or tthem) and target purified water w/ crystal light
walk home from school with a fast pace (20 min or less)
have a snack (depends but this is usually where i go overboard)
have dinner (depends)
that is my usual day..


my doctor said i can lose weight and that was all.

another thing... i have bigger boobs for my age, since that is weight, you know i will weigh extra?

one more thing........... i need motivation too :s

Losing weight, advice?

I'm 20 years old (21 next month) and i've lost a little over 40 pounds in the passed year or so. I still have about 20 to go. Mainly just trying to get rid of the flab that's left over from the quick weight loss. Its mainly my lower stomach, and upper arms and legs that still are hideous. I eat the best i can, and try and count calories. I've also started working out (dancing) 20 minutes a day. (will do more as i can). So realistically, will this be enough to drop my last 20 pounds? And about how long am i looking at to lose it? Thanks in advance for any answers

What are some quick and easy diet shakes/bars?

I want to lose 50lbs over the next 5 to 8 months. My biggest problem is I have a hard time getting breakfast in or actually eating those small 5 to 6 meals everyday. So my thoughts process is if there are any good weight loss shakes or bars that are quick and easy to make that would help me get my inbetween meals in.

ok so ive been 'dieting' for almost 2 months now and all ive lost is 3 kilos! however, im not so much dieting, but more making lifestyle changes. ive cut almost half of my food intake and have been going to the gym everyday for an hour. for breakfast i only eat a yoghurt or fruit, for lunch just a small meal and for dinner just a snack maybe biscuits with some cheese. now my question is... why am i not losing weight! some days i acutally put on weight... how can i lose weight quicker? please help... im starting to become very unmotivated.

Temporary Weight Loss?

I am a dancer and have an audition next week on friday. For partnering you need to be as light as possible and so we are all weighed in at this audition. I have lost some weight this summer but I would like to "trick" the scale a little bit by doing something to reduce my weight for a couple of hours, without
my ability to dance.

What is the best wight loss pill?

I know that weight loss pills aren't good for you but at this point I don't care. I want to know what weight loss pills are quick and effective, pills used with excersize and pills used without excersize. I don't want some pill that will kill me so please don't give me anything that is dangerous, I just want some help slimming down. I've put on an extra couple pounds in the last couple months and because of my hectic schedule its very difficult to find time to workout. Since I am a girl maybe it would be better to take a womens weight loss pill, what do yall think?

For weight loss, what should my target heart rate be?

I'm 5' 10", 28 years old. I've lost 70 lbs, but still need to lose another 30. I've lost the 70 lbs in 5 months by keeping my heart rate at 160+ for 30-45 mins a day (and watching what I eat of course). I'm looking at the chart and it says for my age my "optimum" heart rate for weight loss is 115 - 134, which is way under what I've been putting myself through. Should I maintain a lower heart rate for longer, or is what I've been doing ideal? How can I get this last 30 lbs off in the quickest way possible?
I do take rest days and breaks periodically, btw.

Would you agree with me that I think Pacquiao, Cotto,& Mayweather can beat Sergio Martinez at 154?

Many people have felt that Sergio Martinez dominated the Junior Middleweight and Middleweight Division with his lop sided victory of Kelly Pavlik and a controversial loss to Paul Williams. Martinez have only lost twice, the controversial loss to Williams and a KO loss against Margarito. But since then he has been unstoppable and has made his way to the top 10 P4P List.

Vs. Pacquiao:

Martinez have won the WBC Junior Middleweight title vs an unknown Alex Bunema. After that he had a majority draw vs Kermit Cintron, a boxer I think would lose to Pacquaio by KO. Martinez who was a natural 154 pounder before (he just moved up to 160 recently), went up to 160 and did very well against Williams whom he knocked down and defeated Pavlik. Martinez came up under the 160 range as he shwoed up 157 on weigh in. Pacquaio can beat Martinez in my opinion. Pacquaio has one of the strongest chins in the 21st century and his speed, high volume punching, and current momentum to greatness will overwhelm Martinez who did not fight stiff competition at 154 (160 was the weight he fought Pavlik and P-Will). I pick Pacquaio to win by decision or a possible late TKO.

Vs Cotto:

Cotto showed vulnerability vs Margarito and Pacquaio but he is still one of the best boxer today. He is an underrated counter puncher, excellent power, great upper cuts, underrated jabs (he outjabbed Mosley), and extremely skillful. Cotto is greater and will be always greater than Sergio Martinez. Cotto has KO 18 of his 22 opponents in title fights against some of the best in Junior Welterweight and Welterweight Division. Cotto is highly underrated because of his limited thrash talking skills but I believe sergio Martinez cannot hurt Cotto. Martinez has less than 50% KO rate against mediocre fighters in no comparison to the fighters Cotto has fought. Cotto wins by decision.

vs Mayweather:

Mayweather has a higher KO rate than Martinez. Martinez will try to box Mayweather and will consistently assault him. I dont think Martinez is quick enough to land a clean shot at Mayweather. I believe that Mayweather's chance for a loss is against a fast guy like himself, but it is still almost impossible but possible. Martinez isn't quick in his feet and his reflex is decent but not great. Mayweather's style is suited for Martinez, Mayweather can easily move around and counter. Mayweather wins by UD.

What is the quickest and safest way to lose weight if you don't have access to a gym or machines? I'm already a healthy eater, but I'm a few pounds over the average weight for my height...only about 7. Thanks!

cant stop obsessing over it!?

im a 16 y/o girl. im 5'4''. i used to be normal and healthy. then freshman year i had a quick, mild case of anorexia, that quickly turned into severe bulimia. all the overeating and binging on junk foods caused my weight to skyrocket to 132 lbs really quickly. i continued binging like this all year, but stayed at 132 because i also swam competitively. then sophmore year, everything continued, but i started running xc and track instead. then at the end of the year, i started eating healthier and smaller, more controled amounts, as well as continued running,and started dropping the weight really easily. however,i got injured and had to stop running. i got addicted to the weight loss,and severely restricted my calories and within a short time i was down to 106 lbs. i know i should stop dieting, but i just cant. some days, i do feel thin and pretty and healthy, but others i feel fat and gross and i still have weight to lose. its not a problem of "toning" either. i just feel too big in general. i know i cant change my body structure, but my rib cage is large,and i want to be tiny and slim instead of how i am. my period has stopped(which i dont really miss! lol). i now can no longer tell when i am "full". ive tried to stop counting calories, but i just overeat. when i diet, i count calories and only eat certain portions. when im not, i cant tell when to stop until im TOO stuffed, then i panic and need to start dieting or ill get fat. we've gone out to eat twice, and both times i over ate :( and i have been slacking the past few days, eating more, and not quite as restrictive. i felt fat and swore i gained 5 lbs, but i weighed myself and im 107, this doesnt sound big, but im not as tiny as it sounds. how do i stop feeling so fat?! and how to control my eating and feel comfortable?! im so tired of stressing over food. im obsessed basically. its all i ever think about. its like..a trap.

Is weight loss common in diabetics?

Okay I am diabetic, I have to go back and see a doctor about it soon but I continue to lose weight without trying. I am just wondering if this could be something to due with my diabetes or if I should get this checked out with a doctor when I go back. I eat, but I don't gain weight at all when I do it and I doubt my metabolism is this quick at all. So is it common or should I get this checked out as well?
My kidneys aren't too great anyway right now. -_- Infact I don't think they fully function. Thanks! I'll be sure to get this checked out with a doctor.

I am losing weight, but really slowly. I really need some way to lose weight quicker, so any ideas?

I still have man boobs (although they've shrunk a little bit) and i also still have a bit of a belly (that's shrunk too) but the results are happening really slowly. I have been working out for about 4 months, going to the gym 4/5 times a week, doing cardio and weight training, but still no improvement. What can i do? I only eat unhealthy foods once or twice a week (usually weekends) and eat healthy the rest of the week. What can i do to improve weight loss?

I am a 13 year old girl in desperate need of weight loss, over the past 4-5 years I have just put on loads of weight if anything about 1 stone and a half every year now im 11 stone 3 Ibs at just 13!!!! Most effective way to lose 5 pounds?

I'm only around 120 some pounds. I go through stages where I eat healthy and stages where I eat a lot of junk food. I've always walked a little each day, but this summer has been too hot. I've gained more pounds than usual on my junk food stage, where I have had no exercise. I started back walking today, and I'm laying off the junk food. But I have a few questions.

If you only want to lose 5 pounds, what are the most effective ways?

Does sit-ups and toe touches help?

What are the best foods for quick weight loss?
(I normally go to carrots.)

Any tips are welcome.

Protein shake after run for weight loss?

after my 2-3 mile run I need a quick meal before I go to college. I am over weight and need to lose weight. I was wondering if a protein shake would be a good idea? if not I would most likely eat a sandwich or something easy to make. What kind is good for weight loss? and tasty?
